We valued Georges friendship, his humour and his willingness to help, advise. He was generous with his knowledge and time. Who knew we would ever know how to differentiate between sweet chestnuts and conkers, George taught us. Never understanding why anybody could spend hours or days fishing, George explained that it was more about being in nature, catching a fish was a bonus. Who knew we would meet someone who had met / served with Dick Strawbridge, that was George. He was patient with our complete ignorance of all things computerised and was always a great conversationalist. So glad our paths crossed rest now. T&C
